In summary, this position is responsible for serving as the traveling courier of parcels to aligned school districts.
Qualifications:
The following qualifications are considered as guidelines:
Demonstrated record of regular attendance, attention to detail, and quality performance.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and software/programs.
Alternatives to the above as approved by the Governing Board.
PERFORMANCE
Responsibilities:
1.
Delivers mail, materials, and equipment to administrative offices of the aligned Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana County Local Schools and ESCEO daily (no cash is to be handled by the courier or transported in the county van).
2.
Delivers newsletters and other materials distributed by the county office.
3.
Monitors delivery vehicle for good repair, cleanliness, maintaining daily appropriate fluid levels and tire pressure, and reporting necessary maintenance procedures, with recommendations, in cooperation with the Administration.
4.
Maintains a mileage log and reports the log monthly to the Administration.
5.
When needed, assists custodial staff with the cleanliness and orderliness of the ESCEO central office areas according to direction from the Administration when not fulfilling Courier duties.
6.
Picks up merchandise at area vendors when delivery is not offered.
7.
Moves supplies from storage areas to workstations as requested.
8.
Moves furniture and office equipment as necessary.
9.
Maintains the inventory of supplies and orders materials when appropriate.
10.
Makes additional unscheduled deliveries as assigned, within and outside the school district.
11.
Performs such other duties as may be assigned by the Administration.
12.
Any other duties assigned by the Superintendent.
