This position provides technical support within the Environmental Permitting Department in Canfield, Ohio. Primary activities will be to provide support for various projects with public and private clients, with focus on Appalachian Basin Oil and Gas industry. Activities will include permitting and design efforts associated with gathering and transfer pipelines, pads, compressor stations, and water resourcing support. The candidate may be requested to support other projects/programs that are also managed and supported within this department and other OGA offices.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Provide support to on-going and new projects associate with permitting for the Oil and Gas industry.
Prepare and submit various types of permit applications associated with environmental impacts and water management located in PA, OH, WV, and TX.
Support various phases of technical work from proposal thru implementation working with other groups within the office including administrative, CADD, GIS, wetlands, and Construction.
Able to review and implement appropriate regulations associated with proposed efforts. Support stormwater modeling and design efforts.
Support project proposals and successfully completion of the awarded project in accordance with the proposal schedule and budget.
Able to work in a team oriented atmosphere providing and taking direction on various aspects of the permitting process.
Interface with various Project Managers, Subcontractors, and as appropriate client and government regulatory agencies.
Out of State travel may be necessary for project support.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field of study is required. Entry level to five years of related experience is appropriate; preference will be given to candidates that have experience regarding permitting, design of erosion and sediment control and/or stormwater management skills. Experience in interfacing with state and local agencies as well as community boards for project planning is beneficial. Experience with the preparation and submission of ESCGP-2s; GPs; JPAs; Nationwide 12 applications; and PAG-10s is a bonus.
Candidates must possess knowledge to successfully perform site development activities including identifying and completing permitting requirements and interfacing with state and local agencies and utility companies to determine easements, access limitations, and utility requirements and availability.
Candidates must be self-motivated, creative and have strong organizational, inter-personal communication, writing and presentation skills. Candidates must have the ability to function with little direction to meet project goals and able to take conceptual direction for project tasks and developed detail plans to complete task.
Computer skills must include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Exposure to Hydrologic and hydraulic programs including TR-55 and HEC-RAS and experience with other design programs is desirable.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
